Responsibilities

  • Develops IEPs for students with disabilities and updates them as needed.
  • Implements instructional strategies and progress monitoring tools.
  • Assists students in completing curriculum tasks and IEP goals.
  • Employs varied teaching methods and materials to meet student needs.
  • Monitors student behavior and maintains classroom discipline.
  • Coordinates progress report grades and report cards.
  • Attends IEP meetings and collaborates with the team.
  • Stays current on best practices through professional development.
