Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university.

• Valid NC driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develops IEPs and uses tests to update plans as needed.
• Implements instructional strategies and progress monitoring.
• Assists students in completing curriculum tasks and IEP goals.
• Uses varied teaching methods and accommodations to meet needs.
• Monitors behavior, maintains discipline, and teaches strategies.
• Evaluates work and coordinates progress reports and grades.
• Attends IEP meetings as a collaborative team member.
• Stays current on trends and best practices via PD.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
