Qualifications

• Master's Degree in education or related field from an accredited institution.
• Equivalent education and experience accepted to meet requirements.
• Four years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• One year as a school-based teacher leader preferred.
• One year experience delivering professional development to adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate AACPS mission, goals, and expectations to staff and community.
• Plan, oversee, and lead program/content projects from ideation to completion.
• Support system in adopting and implementing researched, standards-aligned programming.
• Collaborate with school leaders to enhance teacher capacity.
• Analyze student achievement data to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Provide professional learning on instructional best practices with equity.
• Implement system initiatives to ensure fidelity across schools.
• Coordinate system initiatives outside school day with vendors and partners.
• Stay current with best practices by engaging with content organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
