Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in education from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities deemed sufficient to prepare the employee to successfully perform the duties of the position.
• Hold or be eligible for professional educator certificate/license appropriate to the assigned content area issued by Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate AACPS's mission, vision, goals, and expectations for assessment, curriculum, and instruction to school staff and community.
• Plan, oversee, and lead program/content projects from ideation through to completion at the direction of content/program supervisor.
• Support adoption and implementation of research-based, standard-aligned programming with best practices for school-level implementation and planning for mastery of students.
• Collaborate with school administration and teacher leaders to ensure structures for planning to enhance teacher capacity.
• Participate in local, state, and federal monitoring initiatives, including analyzing measures of student achievement and performance data to evaluate program effectiveness.
