Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for a full-time contract to support elementary students while an educator is on medical leave, with a start date as soon as possible and coverage through late October.

Deliver direct therapy under supervision, implement plans, maintain progress records, and collaborate with teachers and caregivers to promote communication skills in a welcoming school setting.

Qualifications

• Current state license or eligibility as an SLPA.
• Experience supporting or providing therapy to children, ideally in an elementary school setting.
• Ability to implement therapy plans developed by supervising SLPs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work across diverse student needs and collaborate within a school team.
• Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct therapy under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Conduct activities and interventions focused on improving communication, articulation, and language skills.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
• Participate in team meetings, collaborating with teachers, staff, and caregivers to support student success.
• Adjust therapeutic approaches to best serve varied learning styles and individual needs of students.
