Job summary

Jordan School District is seeking a licensed Elementary School/Kindergarten teacher for a full-time role. Applicants must hold a Utah Professional Educator License or apply for an Associate Educator License (AEL) to be eligible.

Proof of enrollment in a teacher certification program is acceptable in lieu of an AEL, and proof of an AEL is required before you are added to the candidate pool.

All applicants must have a Professional Educator License awarded by the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) or apply for an Associate Educator License (AEL) to be eligible to apply to Jordan School District and participate in our Alternate Pathway to Professional Educator Licensing (APPEL) Program when hired. UTAH STATE RETIREMENT

Benefit eligible employees are automatically members of the Utah Retirement Systems (URS). This means that the District contributes into the URS plan on your behalf each month. After the URS vesting period of four years, you will have either the Hybrid option, which is a combination of a pension with a 401k plan, or the 401k option if you choose.
