Job summary

Brilla Schools in the Bronx, NY, seeks an Elementary School Assistant Principal of Student Services to lead campus-based supports for diverse learners and ensure compliance with NYSED/DOE requirements. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Current Special Education, ESL, or ELL teaching certification is required.
• 3+ years of urban, elementary, or middle teaching experience with demonstrated student results.
• Administrative certification and 3+ years of leadership experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the campus-based Student Services Team.
• Direct compliance with NYSED regulations and NYC Department of Education.
• Coordinate IEPs, annual reviews, and related service providers.
• Plan and deliver weekly professional development aligned to MTSS.
• Coach teachers through regular observations and feedback.
• Engage families and partners to support student success.

Education
