Job summary

You'll collaborate with teachers and staff to foster an inclusive environment, conduct assessments, provide counseling, and connect families with community resources. On-site role with strong emphasis on student well-being and progress.

Qualifications

• Must have current Michigan School Social Worker license.
• Proven experience supporting students with behavioral and academic needs.
• Strong communication with diverse students, families, and school teams.
• Ability to adapt interventions for individual student requirements.
• Desirable experience in a school-based role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling for students with identified needs.
• Collaborate with educational staff to implement behavioral supports and academic interventions.
• Serve as a resource for families, connecting them with community services and supports.
• Maintain timely, accurate records of services provided and student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on behavioral intervention strategies.
