Job summary

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams, maintain accurate documentation, and adapt activities to promote access to learning in welcoming classrooms.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for practice.
• Experience in school-based therapy, pediatric settings, or educational environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support teams, and families.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Dedication to supporting the educational and developmental needs of diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services for elementary-aged children, focusing on developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
• Evaluate student needs and develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports.
• Participate in student support meetings, contributing your clinical insight to team discussions.
• Adapt activities and environments to support student access and participation in the learning process.
• Consult with staff and parents, providing resources and guidance as needed.
