Job summary

Soliant Health seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services in two elementary schools and one private school in Cartersville, GA during a maternity leave from November 2 through January 29, with a possible extension.

You will assess students, develop IEP-aligned treatment plans, collaborate with educators and families, and maintain timely documentation while supporting students' functional abilities and academic participation.

Qualifications

• Current, active Georgia OT license is required.
• Experience in school-based OT is preferred.
• Solid understanding of pediatric OT strategies, documentation, and IEP processes.
• Strong communication with education professionals and families is essential.
• Dedication to inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services to students at two elementary schools and one private school.
• Conduct assessments, participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to support students’ academic participation and access.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate progress to parents and school teams.
• Manage a dynamic caseload; adapt intervention strategies as needed.
