Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for school-based therapy at two elementary schools in Georgia. The OT will conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized programs, and support progress toward IEP goals while collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Strong assessment, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and adapt environments to support accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, screenings, and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy programs.
• Provide therapy services to improve handwriting, fine motor skills, classroom participation, independence, and other school-based skills.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on therapy goals and services.
• Provide recommendations for adaptations, equipment, and classroom supports.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families, and other service providers.
• Provide training and in-service support to school staff.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, services, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with IDEA and district requirements.
