Job summary

Commonwealth Charter Academy in Mansfield seeks an Elementary Assistant Principal to lead instructional programs at designated grade levels and coordinate activities at a Family Service Center. You will support teachers, families, and students to promote inclusive, evidence-based practices and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Reporting to the Principal, you will oversee curriculum delivery, staff development, and student wellbeing while traveling to service centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Education, Special Education, or related area.
• PA K-12 Principal Certificate (or in approved program to complete).
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in public schools.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and supervision of instructional programs; monitor curriculum implementation.
• Lead professional learning initiatives for staff.
• Foster positive culture and capacity within teams.
• Engage in family outreach and communication; coordinate with school services leadership.
• Assist with enrollment, attendance, records, and health requirements.
• Participate in state testing coordination and learner recruitment.
