Job summary

Unified School District No in Mize Elementary School is seeking a Student Nutrition - Elementary Kitchen Manager for the 2026-2027 school year. The role manages meal preparation and serving for students and staff, ensuring quality and efficiency in service. The position runs 8 hours daily from 6:00 a.m.

to 2:00 p.m., ASAP start for the 2026-2027 school year. Starting pay is $18.60 per hour, with an excellent benefits package described by USD 232.

Qualifications

• Must pass current TB test (Tuberculosis) or copy of recent TB test results.
• Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Leads and participates in preparing and serving food items to students and school personnel at an assigned site.
• Arranges food and beverage items for serving to students and staff in an efficient manner.
• Monitors kitchen and cafeteria areas to ensure a safe and sanitary working environment.
