Job summary

Sampson County Schools Midway Middle in Dunn, North Carolina, seeks a School-Based Instructional Coach to strengthen teacher practice, boost student engagement, and support curriculum implementation.

Working with the PreK-8 Director and school leaders, you will lead collaborative workshops, guide coaching rounds, analyze data, and help teachers design instruction aligned with district goals.

You will model best practices, provide professional development, and foster ongoing growth among staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Current North Carolina Teaching License.
• Experience with NC content standards and instructional practices.
• Ability to design and deliver quality professional development for teachers.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group learning opportunities for teachers as needed.
• Assist teachers with analyzing student assessment data and instructional planning.
• Lead workshops, coaching cycles, and professional learning teams.
• Model effective, differentiated instruction and support classroom management strategies.
• Support alignment of materials with district curriculum and goals.
• Foster ongoing professional growth and reflective practice among staff.
• Develop confidential, collegial relationships with teachers and administrators.
