The Jaffrey Rindge Cooperative School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of support or resource room teacher for social-emotional learning needs at the elementary school level. Desired candidates will hold elementary education certification as well as general special education certification and/or school counselor/school adjustment counselor certification or the ability to acquire a statement of eligibility to gain this certification. Collaboration with general education teachers and special education teachers is key to a successful model. Small special education case management is required. Support all levels of MTSS-B system through classroom, small group, and individual intervention services.
Desired candidates will demonstrate an understanding of differentiation practices, teamwork, and collaboration. A background and/or passion for school adjustment, counseling, or trauma-informed support is valuable. A NH DOE certificate to teach K-12 General Special Education certification is required, or the ability to acquire a Statement of Eligibility from the NH DOE.
