Job summary

Onward Search Education, partnering with Maricopa County schools, is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. This on-site role supports students in an elementary resource room, providing targeted instruction and building access to the general curriculum.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing IEPs, delivering targeted interventions, collaborating with general education teachers, families, and campus teams, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Special Education teaching certification (AZ eligibility).
• Experience in resource rooms or pull-out settings preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
• Strong collaboration with families and school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction in a resource room/pull-out setting.
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned to student needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions and monitor progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support accommodations.
• Partner with families and campus teams to support student growth.
• Maintain a structured, supportive learning environment.
