Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Arizona Special Education teaching certification or eligibility.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and progress monitoring.
• Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEPs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and maintain documentation of student progress.
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement behavior management strategies and interventions as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
