Job summary

School-District-of-Lancaster is seeking a part-time school aide to support teachers and students during the school year. You will assist in small groups and individual instruction, help prepare educational materials and audio-visual aids, and keep learning areas organized and accessible.

You will help ensure a safe, orderly environment, monitor student activities in common areas, and assist with bus loading and transitions as needed, collaborating with staff to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Bilingual required for ELL and Dual Immersion programs.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Assist children individually and in small groups as directed by the teacher.
• Prepare and organize educational materials and AV equipment.
• Maintain organized learning materials and ensure accessibility.
• Provide safe and orderly environment for students.
• Monitor lunchroom, restrooms, playgrounds, and corridors.
• Assist with bus loading/unloading and student transitions.
