Job summary

Snohomish School District is seeking a Paraeducator A - Overload Support for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on supporting the elementary educational process under the Building Administrator and includes lunchroom supervision as a special duty. Hours are 11:30 a.m.

to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for one paid hour per day, with a 9-month calendar and 10 paid holidays. Eligibility requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus one of several education/assessment options, and

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, and one of the listed educational/assessment options.
• Completion of Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Paraeducator Certificate upon hire.
• Ability to meet the job description qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lunchroom supervision.
• Support the elementary educational process under the Building Administrator.
• Other duties as described in the attached job description.

Education

Associate degree or higher, or 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher, or approved educator assessments
