Qualifications

• Must hold an AA degree or 72 college quarter credits, or have passed ParaPro or Paraprofessional assessments.
• Official documentation required upon hire; must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists teaching staff by completing instructional tasks and maintaining an orderly classroom.
• May be assigned to classroom, lunchroom, library, before or after school programs, or office.
• Elementary duties may include crossing guard and playground supervision.
• May be assigned to an individual student or to work with an entire classroom.
