Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a Paraeducator to support students with academic and behavioral needs in special and regular classrooms, including virtual settings. The role reports to the school leader and Education Specialist, with duties designed to complement the instructional program and maximize learning opportunities.

This full-time position runs on a 12-month schedule, with a salary range of $20.92–$24.84 per hour, plus 60 days of school-break pay, resulting in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or 48 units preferred per ParaPro/CBEST options.
• Experience with or willingness to support students with academic/behavioral needs is preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and instructional technologies is expected.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in small groups or 1:1 to reinforce learning activities.
• Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and positive reinforcement.
• Support social interactions and relationships between students with and without disabilities.
• Provide testing accommodations and monitor student progress with data trackers.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom and assist in school-wide activities.
