Edmonds School District is seeking an Office Secretary to support the main office operations, assist the Office Manager and Building Administrator, enter attendance and registration data in Skyward, maintain manual files, monitor the health room, answer phones, greet visitors and provide front-desk service to students, families and staff.
This non-exempt, continuing position offers a 7-hour day on a 190-day calendar, with a starting hourly rate of $35.83 (effective 2026-2027 Salary Schedule),

This position supports the operations of the school's main office and provides assistance to the Office Manager and Building Administrator(s). The Secretary enters student attendance and registration records in the Skyward system and maintains manual files; monitors the student health room; answers telephone calls; greets all office visitors; provides support services for students, parents, staff, and the public.
Shift Details: 7 hours a day; 190 day calendar
Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Hourly Rate: $35.83 (hourly) (2026-2027 Office Personnel Salary Schedule) [Effective Sept. 1, 2026]
Position Type/Level: Office Personnel Level B
Ability to quickly learn the use and application of student information system software. Previous experience in a position requiring public contact and interaction with racially, ethnically, and linguistically diverse communities.
