Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold a B.A/B.S degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Need to obtain Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit.
• Commitment to KIPP mission and anti-racist educator.
• Believe all students can achieve at the highest academic levels.
• Possess strong content area knowledge.
• Strong skills building relationships with students, families, and communities.
• Communicate well with students, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient knowledge of Google Suite applications (Google Classroom, Hangout, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Ability to learn and utilize instructional technology (Zoom, Nearpod) for in-class and distance learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach with purpose through lesson planning, curriculum design, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to grow instructional practices.
• Implement Social Emotional Learning lessons and Restorative Practices in class.
• Contribute to an anti-racist school community and reflect on identity and practice.
