Qualifications

• Strong content area knowledge and ability to build relationships.
• Experience teaching students with demographics similar to the KIPP community.
• Proficient in Google Suite and instructional technology for in-class and distance learning.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily math tutoring block.
• Launch routines to connect every student with a tutor within three minutes.
• Watch the room, manage tech and behavior so tutors can teach.
• Maintain student safety and follow reporting protocols.
• Log daily attendance and troubleshoot logins and connections.
• Review session data and inform the classroom teacher of trends.
• Maintain devices, rosters, and scheduling communications with providers.
• Plan daily and long-term lessons aligned with curriculum and goals.
• Analyze data to identify student trends and inform instruction.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom with restorative practices.
• Use culturally responsive classroom management to ensure safety and learning.
• Communicate with staff, families, and stakeholders regularly.
• Attend weekly professional development and communities of practice.
