Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California in Oakland seeks a dedicated teacher to implement rigorous, culturally responsive instruction. You will design daily lessons, craft deliberate curriculum, and analyze data to support every student’s growth toward high achievement.

The role emphasizes Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices, and requires collaboration with the Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to strengthen practices and advance the district’s anti-racist commitments.

Qualifications

• Hold a B.A/B.S degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Meet one of the following eligibility requirements: Hold a valid teaching credential in the desired subject or Eligibility for a Provisional Internship Permit, or Eligibility for a Short Term Staff Permit.
• Experience as an educator teaching students with similar demographics to our KIPP Public Schools Northern California student community

Responsibilities

• Plan daily lessons and design curriculum aligned with school vision.
• Analyze data to support student growth and inform instruction.
• Implement Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices in the classroom.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to strengthen instructional practices and drive equity.
