KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking educators to join a nonprofit network of charter schools serving diverse communities in the Bay Area. Teachers will lead daily instruction, plan curriculum, analyze data, and implement social emotional learning to foster an inclusive classroom.
Successful candidates will hold a BA/BS, be pursuing or hold an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, and demonstrate a strong commitment to anti-racism and equity in education.
We are a thriving nonprofit network of free, public charter schools open to all students. At KIPP, we believe all children should grow up free to create the future they want for themselves and that schools can and should be a critical factor in making that vision a reality. Together with families and communities, we create joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students with the skills and confidence to pursue the paths they choose—college, career, and beyond—so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world. Our 7,000+ elementary, middle, and high school students across East Palo Alto, Oakland, San Francisco, San Lorenzo, San Jose, Redwood City, and Stockton represent the rich diversity of our region: 79% qualify for free or reduced price lunch, 23% are multilingual learners, and 10% receive special education services.
We strive to build a team of educators whose backgrounds and experiences reflect those of our students and families.
