Job summary

Pacific University’s Tran Library in Forest Grove seeks a part-time FWS - Library Instruction and Collections Assistant focused on Elementary School. You will support Early Learning Community visits, assist with cataloging, and help with CH&YA collections during weekly library visits.

Responsibilities include developing instructional content aligned with Oregon School Library Standards, delivering 5–10 minute sessions, helping readers with grade-level recommendations, and maintaining shelf

Qualifications

• Experience or college coursework related to elementary education.
• Self-motivation and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing complex, repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop library instructional content rooted in Oregon standards.
• Provide short 5-10 minute instruction sessions by grade level.
• Assist in delivering engaging library instruction sessions.
• Provide reader’s advisory by grade and reading level.
