Job summary

Baltimore County Public Schools is seeking a part-time Resource Teacher for elementary/middle grades to provide in-house expertise in curriculum implementation and to support teachers with PD, data analysis, and instruction planning.

The role involves co-planning, co-teaching, modeling lessons, and aligning practices with College and Career Ready Standards in a blended, learner-centered environment. Requires Maryland certification and 3 years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Maryland teaching certification or eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree and three years teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of elementary/middle curricula.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to analyze data supporting academic programs.
• Assist teachers with instruction implementation and co-plan/co-teach lessons.
• Provide targeted teacher and team support per School Progress Plans.
• Model lessons using research-based strategies aligned to standards.
• Prepare students for BCPS/state assessments.
• Support professional growth through aligned PD.
