Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a part-time Resource Teacher for an elementary school to support students with IEPs, delivering academic and functional services in a collaborative, resource-rich environment.

You will develop and implement individualized education plans, modify curriculum, provide instruction in small groups or one-on-one, track progress, and communicate with parents and the IEP team. A state certification in Special Education is required, with a strong collaboration mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Modify general education curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide specialized instruction in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Track student progress and update IEPs throughout the school year.
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and IEP team members.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines.
