Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support a single elementary student with cognitive impairments onsite. The role runs through June 2027 with a schedule of 7:30 am to 2:45 pm, offering a stable, team-centered environment focused on behavioral and mental health supports.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage IEPs, track progress, and communicate with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Valid CI certification required.
• Experience with ASD or similar behavioral needs preferred.
• Degree in Special Education and Michigan licensure.
• Experience with IEPs in a collaborative, team-based setting.
• Commitment to elementary-age instruction and structured support.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite, individualized instruction and support.
• Manage behavior and mental health needs with proven strategies.
• Collaborate with a full team of experts to ensure holistic care.
• Track progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Communicate with families and staff to support student growth.
• Maintain confidential student records per SPED best practices.
