Qualifications

• Active AZ fingerprint clearance card (active status required).
• Active Arizona Department of Education Standard K-12 Teaching Certification in Special Education (Special Education).
• Proven experience in special education settings.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Adaptability to meet diverse learning, behavioral, or adaptive needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction for students in assigned program (middle school resource, middle school behavior, K-8 behavior, or elementary adaptive).
• Implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive positive student outcomes.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports both academic and behavioral growth.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, and participate in progress meetings.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including new teacher orientation (dates provided).
