Soliant Health is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract in Vermont. The position serves a mild to moderate caseload and emphasizes collaboration with a school community to support student growth throughout the school year.

Starting August 11, 2026, through June 15, 2027, the role offers ongoing relationships with students and staff, with a focus on individualized instruction and data-driven progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• Current Vermont teaching license with appropriate Special Education endorsement or eligibility for Vermont licensure.
• Experience working with elementary-aged learners in a special education setting (mild/moderate needs preferred).
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, goal setting, data collection, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to advocating for students and supporting inclusive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students.
• Provide direct instruction and differentiated support tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure cohesive support for each child.
• Track and report on student progress through thorough documentation and ongoing assessment.
• Proactively participate in team meetings, student conferences, and professional development opportunities.
