Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a part-time teacher to share the gospel in a classroom setting, combining Bible knowledge with engaging instruction for both church and public school students.

The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children, and will complete LifeWise training and certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain attendance, health notes, and class rosters; prepare materials for substitutes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and know emergency procedures.
• Communicate as LifeWise ambassador; attend open houses and outreach events; keep school staff informed.
