Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with students in public school settings. The role requires a two-year classroom teaching background and active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise faith standards.

The teacher will complete required certification, implement LifeWise curriculum, and maintain class records while building relationships with students, volunteers, and school staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (in school or church).
• Active personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training including the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and adapt as needed.
• Maintain attendance records, class rosters and health notes; prepare materials for substitutes.
• Keep classroom organized, safe and redemptive in approach; manage time and discipline appropriately.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and the program director; share updates and photos as needed.
