Job summary

Kingsville ISD is seeking a Campus Behavior Specialist to proactively support student behavior by coaching staff, modeling effective practices, and implementing evidence-based strategies. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or related field.
• Texas elementary teacher certification or approved training preferred.
• Experience supporting the behavioral needs of students required.
• Experience in inclusive settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in defining and measuring behavior and reinforcement principles.
• Observe and support classroom organization and effective instruction.
• Collaborate with campus administrators to implement positive behavior supports.
• Work with staff to determine behavioral goals and methods.
• Plan instruction with teachers and administrators; conduct classroom management training.
• Provide and seek assistance to improve behavior services and positive student behavior.
