Job summary

Kent ISD – Center Programs (KEC Beltline/KEC Oakleigh) is seeking a Behavior Coach to provide educational leadership in social-emotional learning and MTSS implementation. You will coach local districts, support program development, and lead professional development activities across centers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with LEAs, data-driven behavior interventions, and ensuring compliance with IDEA and MARSE.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Michigan professional certification in Special Education.
• Three years of successful experience in education including behavioral services.
• Experience developing training and support programs related to mental health/social-emotional.
• Knowledge of IDEA, MARSE and related compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership on social-emotional learning through MTSS.
• Coaching to LEAs and Center Programs to implement interventions.
• Assist LEAs with evidence-based curriculum and program development.
• Develop and implement coaching cycles and professional development.
• Use data analysis to inform Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Attend district and county meetings as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
