The incumbent will deliver age-appropriate social-emotional content, maintain data tracking for progress, and support transitions back to general education while ensuring compliance with WV policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Counseling and relevant licensure requirements.
• Experience with behavior assessment and intervention planning.
• Knowledge of data-driven behavior supports and MTSS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans based on data.
• Plan and deliver social-emotional content aligned to standards.
• Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and social growth.
• Monitor progress toward behavioral goals with teachers and families.
• Establish relationships with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Create and monitor transition plans for students returning to general education.
• Provide ongoing support to general education teachers during transitions.
