Job summary

Child Guidance Resource Centers seeks an Elementary Education Services Counselor to provide school-based behavioral health support and crisis intervention. The role involves assisting with assessment, supervision, and administrative duties, and collaborating with families and teachers to implement IEPs.

The Counselor will monitor progress, maintain timely documentation, and participate in supervision and training while promoting a healthy work environment and strong community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience with IEPs and implementing school-based supports.
• Ability to provide crisis intervention and immediate behavioral reinforcements.
• Strong documentation skills and compliance with program procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with families and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral support aligned with IEP including crisis intervention.
• Support teachers in implementing IEPs.
• Monitor progress and provide data for evaluations.
• Communicate with family and team members about progress.
• Supervise self-administration of client medication under RN guidance.
• Facilitate Social Skills groups as needed.
• Complete documentation within required timeframes.
• Participate in required supervision and training.
