CUSD 303 is seeking to hire a qualified candidate to serve as an Elementary Assistant Principal - .50 FTE Munhall Elementary and .50 FTE Corron Elementary for the 2025-26 school year.
Primary Purpose: The assistant principal is responsible for facilitating a service model based on best practices, the district’s philosophy, and the needs of all students. They work with the leadership team to ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate student-centered climate and culture. The role involves collaborating with district and school staff to design and implement professional development that supports student agency academically, socially, and emotionally, while meeting staff needs. The assistant principal prioritizes student needs in decision-making and models this approach for staff.
The assistant principal is a strategic, proactive leader with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, committed to advancing innovative teaching and learning practices. They serve on the Instructional Leadership Team to implement the district’s strategic plan and the school’s improvement plan. The role involves working closely with the principal and staff.
This is a 10-month, full-time administrator-certified position with a salary range of $72,000.00 - $95,134.00 (without TRS). Additional benefits are attached.
