Position: 0.50 FTE at Munhall Elementary and 0.50 FTE at Corron Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year.
The assistant principal is responsible for facilitating a service model based on best practices, the district’s philosophy, and the needs of all students. In partnership with the leadership team, they ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate student-centered climate. They collaborate with district and building staff to design and implement professional learning opportunities supporting student agency academically, socially, and emotionally, while meeting staff needs. The role requires a strategic thinker and proactive leader with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, committed to innovative teaching and learning practices. The assistant principal is a member of the Instructional Leadership Team, implementing the district’s strategic plan and the school's improvement plan. Experience working with students with autism is preferred.
This is a 10-month, full-time administrative position with a salary range of $72,000 to $95,134 (without TRS). Benefits are also provided.
