Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson is seeking an energetic Site Coordinator to lead after-school programs for K–5 students. You will plan and supervise educational, enrichment, and recreational activities, ensure safety, and maintain program quality with strong collaboration with schools and families.

A four-year degree and youth development experience are preferred. You will oversee staff, participate in meetings, manage schedules, and help recruit program participants while upholding BGCC standards

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience; youth development experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test clearance are required.
• Strong organizational and management skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare youth for success by promoting participation and member orientation.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate site staff and volunteers.
• Plan and implement quality programs across core areas for grades K–5.
• Maintain inventory and ensure equipment storage and maintenance.
• Ensure health, safety, and positive learning environments.
• Maintain records, schedules, attendance, and reports.
• Coordinate with schools, parents, and partners to strengthen relationships.
