Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Territory Manager in the United States to drive sales in the Philadelphia area within our Structural Heart and interventional portfolio. This field-based role collaborates with the Regional Director, clinical consultants, and hospital personnel to meet annual sales objectives.

You'll identify market opportunities, develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and educate customers on product use.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years cardiovascular sales experience; 3+ years in Structural Heart or EP.
• Vendor credentialing requirements including COVID-19 vaccination; discuss accommodations with HR.

Responsibilities

• Sells products by scheduling calls with current and potential customers to meet revenue and growth targets.
• Develops and implements sales strategies by considering product, competition and pricing needs for hospital personnel and physicians.
• Develops action plans by analyzing sales figures and reports to identify needs and discuss issues with regional manager.
• Identifies key accounts, healthcare professionals, and buying decisions to address clinical needs.
• Observes procedures in labs and operating rooms to understand physician and staff needs.
• Establishes pricing packages with Abbott Vascular to address customer needs and company guidelines.
• Develops relationships with hospital staff to facilitate future sales across departments.
• Strengthens customer relationships by providing training, VIP trips, launches and updates.
• Builds networks by attending trade shows and conferences to stimulate interest in products.
• Educates customers on product merits and clinical usage via presentations and demonstrations to secure commitments.
• Maintains clinical and technical expertise by attending product training sessions.
• Assesses trends in managed care and competitors; monitors internal and external indicators.
• Prepares and submits reports to sales management by analyzing data and projections.
