Job summary

Abbott in Texas is seeking a Senior Electrophysiology Clinical Specialist to provide advanced engineering, sales, educational and clinical support for EP products.

In this senior role, you will act as the main clinical interface with the medical community, build strong customer relationships, mentor junior staff, and lead trainings. The position requires heavy on-call coverage, cross-functional collaboration, and deep knowledge of ABT portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of clinical experience (internal or external).
• IBHRE EP certification required.
• Ability to mentor EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases.
• Experience conducting complex customer education events to sell EP value.
• Solely dedicated to EP with ability to perform the most complex cases solo.
• Proven ability to build and sustain clinical relationships with customers.
• Must meet vendor credentialing requirements including vaccination if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior clinical interface between the medical community and business.
• Build and sustain credible customer relationships and share product expertise.
• Provide engineering, sales, education and clinical support for EP products 24/7 on-call.
• Develop and lead trainings and programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide feedback to management on market needs and next-gen products.
• Provide regional EP implant case coverage for defined accounts.
• Mentor EP clinical support roles.
