Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Test Technician to support production through testing and troubleshooting of electronic equipment. You will follow drawings, schematics and instructions to test units, perform calibration and maintain fixtures, with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

This role requires an AAS in electronics or equivalent, soldering skills, and ability to read technical documentation. One year of manufacturing experience and basic SAP knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Soldering skills required.
• Ability to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly skills.
• Ability to read technical documents and schematics.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

• Performs production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• Uses test procedures, drawings, schematics and instructions to test and troubleshoot units.
• Works on semi-routine tasks; recognizes nonconformities.
• Maintains safety, ISO practices and procedures.
• Documents test results accurately.
• May assist training other AE employees.
