Job description

Adecco is seeking skilled Electronics Test Technicians for a leading manufacturer specializing in enterprise power and electrical distribution equipment located in Richmond, VA. Position Details:
  • Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
  • Shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
  • Flexibility required for occasional weekends and shift changes based on business needs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Test, troubleshoot, and validate electrical and electronic equipment, including UPS systems, power distribution units, and related components.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic issues down to the PCB and component level.
  • Operate and program electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, power meters, and circuit board testers.
  • Work with three-phase power systems and high-voltage electrical equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Identify production issues and report design or documentation discrepancies.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to enhance product performance and manufacturing processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including board-level diagnostics.
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, power meters, and other electronic testing tools.
  • Preferably experienced with three-phase power systems and high-power electrical equipment.
  • Manufacturing or test lab experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is advantageous.
  • Computer proficiency, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work effectively in a production environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
