Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking a temporary Associate Electronics Test Technician to support manufacturing on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) in Syracuse, NY. You will assemble, test, and rework radar systems, sub-assemblies and components.

Responsibilities include following procedures, interpreting diagrams, using test equipment, and performing validation tests. Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, plus ability to lift 40 pounds and operate tools.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field or a high school diploma with 5+ years of related experience.
• Basic electronics testing background with RF fundamentals.
• Ability to set up and use commercial test equipment (DMMs, spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, RF meters, oscilloscopes).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with hand and power tools and calibrated torque tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• IPC J-STD-001 solder certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to test and assembly procedures to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Assemble, disassemble, and rework complex electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Utilize hand and power tools; maintain calibrated torque tools.
• Perform soldering, wire preparation, and wire harness assembly.
• Set up and use electronic test equipment (DMMs, spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, RF meters, oscilloscopes).
• Execute validation tests of circuit card assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Document discrepancies and log troubleshoot/rework actions.
• Participate in inventory and pack-out operations for shipment.
• Contribute to production team effectiveness.
