Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking a temporary Associate Electronics Test Technician to support manufacturing operations on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) at our Syracuse, NY location. You will assemble, test, and rework radar system components and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities include following test procedures, interpreting schematics, setting up test equipment, performing validation tests, and documenting issues. Requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent with electronics testing experience; ability

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with related experience.
• Basic electronics testing background and RF fundamentals.
• Ability to set up and use commercial test equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and torque tools.
• Experience with soldering and wire harness work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Linux basics a plus.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow test and assembly procedures to support daily manufacturing.
• Assemble, disassemble, and rework electronic/mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Set up and use test equipment (DMMs, analyzers, generators, meters, scopes).
• Perform soldering, wire prep and wire harness work.
• Validate circuit card assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Document discrepancies and log troubleshoot/rework actions.
• Support inventory and packing for shipments.
• Contribute to production as a key team member.
• Maintain calibration and cleanliness of tools and work area.
