Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Electronics Technician to support SRCTec Depot operations in Syracuse, NY. You will test, troubleshoot, and repair production electronic warfare and radar systems, sub-assemblies and components, including RF, digital processing, and power components.

A 10% shift differential applies to the 2nd shift. The role requires an Associate degree in electronics technology or related field and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics technology or related field, and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with test equipment and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• IPC J-STD-001 solder certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established test procedures and production processes to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Set up and utilize automated and manual test equipment (DMMs, spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, RF meters, oscilloscopes).
• Diagnose and correct the most complex system and equipment problems.
• Inspect and identify faulty components on circuit card assemblies.
• Troubleshoot RF, digital, and voltage failures of circuit card assemblies down to the component level.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Perform solder rework of surface-mounted components on circuit card assemblies as needed.
• Accurately document test results, troubleshooting processes, and repair actions.
• Support the manufacturing process through testing of proprietary systems and sub-assemblies.
