Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking a temporary Associate Electronics Hardware Technician to support manufacturing operations on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) at our Syracuse, NY facility. The role involves assembling, disassembling, and reworking production electronic warfare and radar systems and sub-assemblies.

You will follow assembly procedures, read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings, and use hand and power tools, including calibrated torque tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with basic hand and power tools and calibrated torque tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, with or without accommodations.
• IPC J-STD-001 solder certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to assembly procedures to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Assemble, disassemble, and rework complex electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings for production tasks.
• Use hand and power tools; maintain calibrated torque tools.
• Perform limited soldering, wire preparation, and wire harness assembly.
• Document discrepancies and rework actions throughout production.
• Assist in inventory and pack-out operations for shipment.
• Support masking/demasking for circuit card assemblies to aid conformal coating.
• Contribute as a key member of the production team.
