Leidos is seeking an Electronics Technician to support assembly, testing, deployment, and maintenance of low voltage AC/DC electronic systems for surface and subsea applications at the Navy SEAFAC facility in Ketchikan, AK. The role involves electrical and mechanical assembly, lab work, and on-water testing with potential overnight stays.

The candidate must read schematics, understand low voltage systems, and be able to operate standard test equipment.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years related experience.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings.
• Experience with low voltage AC/DC systems.
• Capable of operating standard electronic test equipment.
• Willing to obtain a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Willingness to travel outside local occasionally.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Qualify and operate small boats under varying conditions.
• Assemble component racks and assemble electronic subassemblies.
• Operate shop equipment and maintain documentation.
• Install, repair, and maintain electronic systems.
• Prepare daily activity logs.
• Inspect and test electronic assemblies with lab equipment.
